This project was approached with a multifaceted phased strategy, addressing both critical exterior repairs and interior aesthetic enhancements. For the exterior, the focus was on ensuring structural integrity. This involved tasks such as removing the existing stone, shoring up and securing the wood structure, and implementing new waterproofing measures to prevent moisture infiltration issues in the future. Additionally, a new facade and skin were installed, accompanied by painting, landscaping improvements, and various other site, pool, lighting and exterior enhancements. The interior renovation was comprehensive, covering all aspects of the hotel’s three-story, eighty-room facility. This included selective demolition to make way for new flooring, wallcoverings, and paint, all carefully chosen to adhere to IHG’s Formula Blue Design standards. Furthermore, the project incorporated special touches like unique ceiling treatments, intricate millwork features, and the introduction of new furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Enhancements were made across all areas, from guest rooms and public spaces to private offices and the breakfast area, all with the aim of enhancing the overall guest experience.
